These are wonderful kick mics meant to go in front of the Resonant Head. There’s no need to try and put these guys inside nor do you need to put any sound insulation or packing blankets around it. Just a foot tall mic stand and an XLR or 1/4” TRS cable into your recording console is all you need because they are only picking up the lowest of the lows. Only if you had a Bass Amp Blasting nearby and behind the drum kit would you have to worry about bleed as it has a cardioid pickup pattern which will reject most if not all of the sounds behind it or to the sides.
